All your friends have been telling you about a new TV show that’s airing on the Spike channel ; they have been watching it for several weeks and you would like to do it too, in order to comment on it together. Unfortunately, however, you’ve noticed a problem: you’ve turned on the TV and you’ve realized that you can’t perform this operation on your own, as you can’t locate this specific channel.
How do you say? This is the way it is and wondering if I can help you fix this little snag? Of course, there’s no problem, I’m more than happy to help you out. In fact, during this tutorial I will explain to you step by step how to watch Spike TV on your TV and also how to achieve this by streaming it using its official website. These are very simple operations to carry out so I am sure that by following the instructions contained in this guide in detail, you will not have any problems.
Note: As of January 2022 Spike TV is no longer available. Its contents have been “hijacked” on the FTA Super channels! and VH1, on Sky MTV, MTV Music, Comedy Central (e+1), Nickelodeon (e+1) and NickJr (e+1) channels and on the Pluto TV (free) and Paramount+ (paid) streaming platforms.

If your intent is to watch Spike TV through your TV, know that you can do it easily, as this channel is visible in the clear and you can see it whether you have a traditional TV or a Smart TV. However, if you are having difficulties, don’t worry, in the following lines I will guide you in carrying out this operation.
Keep in mind, however, that since I am not aware of the TV model you are using, in this tutorial I will provide you with the information regarding a Smart TV I own, namely an LG Smart TV . The information I provide may vary slightly for different devices.
In any case, the first operation to be performed, to watch the Spike channel , is certainly to turn on the television. To do this, press the power button on the same or on the remote control (it is usually red and has a switch symbol ).
With the TV on, make sure you are on the TV channel display screen. I make this specific recommendation since, if you are using a Smart TV and you were playing multimedia content within an application, the next time you turn it on you will find yourself again on the screen you were using before turning it off.
In this case, you need to switch to viewing the TV channels screen; to do this, press the button with the house symbol located on the remote control. As soon as the TV menu opens, tap on an antenna icon which is labeled TV Channels .
Once this screen is displayed, you must type, using the remote control, the channel number that corresponds to that of Spike . If you don’t know it, just do a Google search, typing “ Spike TV channel number ” or you can find this information directly on Spike’s official website . The number is 49 (or 26 if you want to view it from satellite TV, Tivùsat ), so type it using the numeric keypad on the remote control.
Are you having trouble finding it? In this case, you can also search for Spike via the TV channel list. Press the List button on the remote control to see a side menu on the screen with a list of all channels. Scroll the menu you see on the screen, using the arrow keys, to locate it.

Well if that’s the case unfortunately I’m sorry to inform you that, at the time of writing this guide, it is not possible to see Spike in live streaming through his official website or through an application for Android or iOS. However, if what interests you is the possibility of reviewing the episodes of the programs aired on the station, you will be happy to know that this is possible.
In the following lines, I’ll explain how to do this, using your smartphone and tablet as well as your computer. Also I will tell you about third-party solutions that allow you to stream Spike .
From smartphones and tablets
To see and review the programs aired on the Spike channel , it is possible to act directly from the official website which can also be used from smartphones and tablets.
All you need to do this is an Internet browser such as Google Chrome ( Android / iOS ) or Safari (the default browser on iOS devices). Then start the application you usually use to browse the Internet, by tapping its icon on the home screen of your device, then type spiketv.it in the address bar and press the Search key on the keyboard, in order to connect quickly.
Wait for the main page to load and tap on the movie you are interested in seeing among those on the home page. The videos are divided into some categories, such as Highlights , Videos of the moment and Top programs . Eventually, you can press the ☰ icon to see a drop-down menu: the items you need to press to see the published videos are Videos and Programs . By pressing on Programs you can also see the complete list of all programs, in order to identify the relative episode, if available. Then, to start playing a movie, press the Play buttonthat you find in the center and wait for it to load.
In particular, on iOS , playback takes place through the media player integrated into the device and you can then use the ▶ and ❚❚ button to start and pause the video respectively. There are also 15-second forward and backward buttons, which are marked with a left or right arrow symbol . Instead, use the speaker icon if you want to adjust the volume, while to play the video in full screen, press the icon with the symbol of two diagonal arrows located in the upper left corner.
On Android , on the other hand, to start and pause playback, press the ▶ and ❚❚ icons that appear by tapping the screen. To adjust the volume, use the physical keys of the device you are using, while to view the movie in full screen, press the diagonal arrow icon .
By computer
If you want to view the videos posted on the Spike website from your computer, you can do this using a browser for browsing the Internet , such as Google Chrome ( Windows/macOS ) or Safari , the default macOS browser.
Then start the browser and connected to the official web page of the TV channel by clicking on the link indicated. Wait for the home screen to load and then, locate the videos that are present on the home page. If you are unable to locate the video you are interested in, refer to the menu bar located at the top and press on the Video or Programs items or search for the video you are interested in viewing using the internal search engine (the symbol of a magnifying glass ) .
Once you locate the movie, click on it to start playing. The multimedia player is very simple to use: press the ▶ and ❚❚ button if you want to respectively start or pause playback and, if instead you want to play the movie in full screen, use the icon with the two arrows symbol side . To adjust the sound, just click the speaker symbol icon .
Other solutions to watch Spike TV in streaming
If, on the other hand, you are interested in seeing the Spike TV channel in live streaming, you must use third-party solutions, such as for example the one offered by the First One TV website . It is possible to use the service in question from a computer but also from smartphones and tablets, through the use of a browser for surfing the Internet. The procedure to be carried out is exactly the same on Windows and macOS and also acting from Android and iOS .
Then connect to his official Internet by clicking on this link to be sent directly to the Spike channel page ; then press the ▶ key in the center of the screen and wait for the live to load. Use the ❚❚ button if you want to pause and refer to a speaker icon , to adjust the volume. To play the movie in full screen, press the rectangle in the lower right corner.
If you experience problems using this website, it could be due to the Flash Player plug-in . The First One TV multimedia player uses this tool developed by Adobe, so refer to my tutorial in which I explain how to download it .
In reality, however, if this plugin is not present on your computer, the Internet site should work the same (the major browsers support it natively and moreover Flash Player is being abandoned in favor of the HTML5 format ) but, in if you continue to have problems, it is possible that you will have to act manually for its activation. Alternatively, another third-party solution that you can use to watch live streaming TV channels is the use of an application that allows you to view them, or you can turn to an IPTV application. Among these, I recommend the Italian TV app on Android and the sTVeam app on iOS . As for the IPTV apps, the ones I recommend are the GoIPTV M3U ( Android / iOS ) and GSE SMART IPTV ( Android / iOS ) apps.
